Baby Shower Extravaganza!

Recently I organized a baby shower for four (yes 4!) of the mommies-to-be-again in my wonderful mom's group. I guess the correct term is a baby "sprinkle," but it turned out so well that I just had to share!

Game #1: We made babies out of play-doh!

These turned out super cute--those mamas sure are creative!!
I had everyone vote for their favorite and the winner received a prize.
(The winner was the purple one!)

Game #2: Pin the Sperm on the Egg
This ended up being really funny! I found the picture online, printed it out and taped it to a 12x12. If I was better at drawing, I might have tried to re-create it on some tagboard.

Games #3 and #4: Guess how many cottonballs are in this jar and Guess what kind of babyfood this is!
A couple of guessing games rounded out the evening.

And on to the prizes...

Prize#1: A bouquet of baby towels and washcloths.

(I was super happy with how this turned out!)

Prize #2: A Box of Mama Essentials (lip gloss, lotion, a razor, some candies, emery board, nail polish and a few other things)

(I covered a sidewalk chalk box with card stock and added some stickers)

Our other prizes were a cute display of baby food with some bibs and a piece of artwork with this quote from Winnie the Pooh / A.A. Milne:

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. i'll always be with you.”

And then of course there was a bunch of yummy food (potluck) and birthday cake (because we were also celebrating another mama's 40th birthday!). A fabulous evening!!
